Climate change is also causing shifts in geographic ranges and migration patterns of terrestrial and marine species. Some species will face extinction. Ocean warming and acidification pose major risks to marine ecosystems, particularly polar and coral reef ecosystems. Indonesia, which is known as a mega-biodiversity country, has very complete types of land and sea ecosystems. This climate change will certainly have an impact not only on the environment but also on public health. Ecosystem-based adaptation is also one of the priority agendas for climate change control. In response to this issue, the Faculty of Public Health Universitas Diponegoro will hold a summer course program with the topic Community Participation in Public Health “Public Health Coping and Adaptation Response to Climate Change in Coastal Areas”.
