The 4th Summer Course Program was held on 13th – 23rd July 2022 through an online program with the topic “Community Participation in Public Health During the COVID-19 Pandemic Era”. The opening ceremony was held on 13th July with the welcoming speech from Anggun Puspitarini Siswanto, PhD as the Head of International Office Universitas Diponegoro and opening remarks by Dr. Budiyono, SKM., M.Kes as the Dean of Faculty of Public Health Universitas Diponegoro. The Dean welcomed 52 participants from various countries such as Malaysia, Nigeria, Cambodia, Timor Leste, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Yaman, Taiwan, India, Uganda, Sierra Leone, and Algeria.
The online Summer Course Program consists of various topics and invites a lot of expertise, not only from Universitas Diponegoro but also from the University Technology Mara Malaysia, the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the National Research and Innovation Agency, Central Java Provincial Health Office, Jamu Maker, Waste Bank Organization, etc. The participants will be able to join the program using Zoom Meeting and also asynchronously using the MOOCs platform. During the opening remarks, the Dean hoped that this Summer Course Program would be able to be used as a platform to share knowledge between participants from various countries, and also initiate a collaboration or partnership with other institutions.
